This design is based on a 15th-century Florentine bronze portrait medal of Aristotle, created circa 1500 during the Renaissance revival of classical learning. The original relief is held in the collection of the National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., cataloged as a Renaissance Florentine bronze plaquette depicting Aristotle (384–322 BCE).

Renaissance artists honored ancient philosophers through portrait medals as a deliberate act — a way of keeping reason, virtue, and the examined life visible in a world being remade by humanist scholarship. Aristotle's influence on logic, ethics, and natural philosophy made him a central figure in that revival.

Printed on a premium soft fleece sweatshirt. A wearable reminder that ideas endure.
